Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I am a photographer looking for a metaphor for my visual experience on the world. In most of my childhood pictures, I am holding a camera - or taking the picture. Always watching a spectacle with curiosity. My curiosity as a child is still with me. My view through the lens is personal. I am always gathering a look for a chance connection with no posed subjects. In my hometown, Seattle, I studied at Black Lab Gallery. My first gallery show was my study of mannequins as an artistic master photographer. My first love is the dark room; there is imagination in the dark, from the film to the process in the trays developing magic. Now I am journeying into the light room with digital curiosity.
